Relying on taxes alone will not be ideal for MatchTrade, both as a business and for its users in form of revenue sharing. To this end, we have added logical ways to profit off the app for ourselves and our community, while keeping players happy, engaged and entertained.

MatchTrade makes money from the app when

• players compete against each other and a winner is crowned. The winner takes 95% of the pot, while MatchTrade takes 5%.

• players compete against each other, however a user gets cold feet and cancels. MatchTrade charges the user who cancelled 5%, of which 4% goes to the user who didn't cancel and 1% goes to MatchTrade.

• players (or anyone) trades on the MatchTrade platform

Having numerous sources of income allows for a more sustainable economic model, enabling revenue sharing to continue as long as the project is alive.
